I am so grateful to the families who have allowed me to share these images with you. We have done so in an effort to show how beautiful birth can be. All of the births shown here were natural, vaginal births, both in the hospital and at home. Some of these images, as well as many others, will appear in my forthcoming photographic book exploring the notion of conscious childbirth. The majority of the book has already been shot and much of the foundational work is done. All I need now is a publisher!
